Do you power nap?

Do you power nap?

Or to put it another way, does you MacBook Air power nap?

Power Nap is one of those great features that I think will be really useful and you probably won't notice is going on Mountain Lion.

Power Nap details from Apple support website

The settings for Power Nap can be found under the Energy Saver option in System preferences.

Power Nap will then automatically happen when the MacBook Air goes to sleep.

If you find the preference is not there do a software update to ensure that you have the latest SMC update.

The update can be manually accessed from: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5394
