Setting up multimedia in church?

Are you thinking of adding multimedia to your church?

Struggling where to start and what to use?

At the heart of any system are basics of a sound desk and a device to connect different inputs to a projector.  Typically a switcher can have anything between 4 and 8 inputs which can be configured to connect a computer / laptop / DVD player etc to a main projector and auxiliary video outputs.  Many places of worship already have a sound system and it is important that the audio output from the switches is connected into the desk rather than connecting each device separately.

The rack below shows one possible configuration.
